I've tried various magnesium supplements but found this one effective. Previously, I took magnesium oxide, which had no impact. After switching to magnesium citrate for its amazing effects, I tried this glycinate/lysinate form. While it's on par with the citrate, I prefer the lower cost of the citrate. Regardless, both forms have significantly reduced the painful muscle spasms in my feet and the twitching in my face while relieving menstrual cramps and tension in my muscles.

Athlete's Foot, medically known as tinea pedis, is a common fungal infection that primarily affects the skin of the feet. It is caused by various types of fungi, often thriving in warm, moist environments such as locker rooms, swimming pools, and shared showers. The condition is characterized by symptoms such as itching, burning, and stinging sensations between the toes or on the soles of the feet. In some cases, it may also lead to redness, peeling, and cracks in the skin, which can be uncomfortable and lead to complications if left untreated.
Treatment for Athlete's Foot typically includes topical antifungal creams or powders, which are widely available over the counter. Ensuring proper foot hygiene, such as keeping feet dry and well-ventilated, is also crucial in preventing this infection. Individuals can benefit from wearing moisture-wicking socks and breathable shoes, and it's advisable to avoid walking barefoot in public areas. Maintaining these habits not only helps in treating Athlete’s Foot but also in preventing potential reoccurrences.
Magnesium is a chemical element with the symbol Mg and atomic number 12. It is a lightweight, silvery-white metal that is a member of the alkaline earth metals group. Often classified as one of the most abundant elements in the Earth's crust, magnesium plays a crucial role in various biological functions and is essential for living organisms. In nature, magnesium can be found in large quantities, primarily in minerals such as dolomite and magnesite, and it is also present in seawater.
In terms of health benefits, magnesium is vital for numerous metabolic processes, including energy production, DNA synthesis, and muscle function. It contributes to bone health, helps regulate blood pressure, and supports bone formation by promoting the effects of vitamin D. The recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for magnesium varies by age and gender, but it is generally important to include magnesium-rich foods like leafy greens, nuts, seeds, and whole grains in your diet to ensure adequate intake. For those who may not receive enough magnesium through their diet alone, supplements are also available; however, it is advisable to consult a healthcare professional before starting any supplementation.
While magnesium is widely recognized for its various health benefits, there is limited evidence to suggest that it directly helps with athlete's foot, which is a fungal infection commonly affecting the feet. Athlete's foot is primarily caused by fungi, and treatment typically involves antifungal creams or oral medications that specifically target these pathogens. Magnesium may play a role in overall skin health and immune function, but it is not a first-line treatment for fungal infections like athlete's foot.
For effective management of athlete's foot, it's advisable to look into antifungal options that are clinically proven to combat the infection. Over-the-counter treatments such as clotrimazole or terbinafine are popular choices. Additionally, maintaining good foot hygiene, keeping your feet dry, and wearing breathable footwear can help prevent the condition from recurring. If symptoms persist or worsen, consulting with a healthcare professional is essential for appropriate care.

For mineral supplements, this magnesium combined with potassium is taken before bed. I chose it due to its high-quality ingredients. When I go to bed and my feet feel restless, they mysteriously settle down now. I continue to take it every day as I no longer feel discomfort in my legs.
